A # and SSN, Give her A# and SSN.
She would confirm with Last and First Name and address.
, this only tells your FP check is cleared or not
CS lady told that FP notice have been sent to Immigration dept and today when I check my mail I got the FP notice.
I have even asked about name check and she said she does not have any info on that.
Then I asked her about my wife case. She took info and checked about her case too.

no dude..it does not..there is not much it will give us..
we need visa recapture, elimination of country quota and simplification of ac21 rules
(i feel like i am asking for free beer :p)
Dude I agree that we need Visa recapture but and additional 50K visas a year for EB will go a long way as well....
In current situation any increase in EB visas will help...

I can't sleep all night.. cmon atleast give us few options.
My take on the permanent solution:
1. Recapture lost visa numbers
It will need change in law. Cannot be done without senate and congress approval
2. Medical tests are going to be valid indefinitely
Possibily but cannot be a big news, especially if we are talking about near term good news
3. Ppl who've worked for X years automatically can apply for I-485
It will need change in law. Cannot be done without senate and congress approval
5. All can apply as per the old bulletin

We went to SanJose Charcote dr. last saturday. Our appointment was at 3pm. But we went at around 1PM as our daughter has a tutoring class between 2-4. They accepted and let us do at 1:15pm. It is cool and not much croud. There are around 10 FP machines and took about 15 min to finish. Our LUD changed next day on our 485 applications. But check the address one day before the appointment. As it shows 122 charcote dr. inside But outside you would see 5 digit numbers and you would easly miss. Also you will not see USCIS on outside board(it shows as some Application center).

We got back to USA on 1/7.
POE: Dallas (DFW)
We gave IO only passport and AP, got new I-94 in only 5 mins.
Questions asked by IO:
1. How long were away from USA?
2.How was weather in India ? ;)

Hi, Is there anybody in this forum who has filed G-28 for self? Can somebody please advise what to fill? I am going thru the G-28 form right now, it has the following option:
1. I am an attorney...
2. I am acredited representative of religious, charitable trust....
3. I am associated with -------- the attorney of record previously filed a notice of appearance...(in this case, please check 1 or 2 as appropriate)
4. Others (Explain fully).
I guess if we have to file for self, we need to check others.
Can someone please advise what to write in the explanation? Also, does USCIS acknowledge the change of record or at least the receipt of G-28? Can this be filed even before sending AC21 letter? Is there anyway the existing lawyer/company will know about this? Thanks in advance for the reply.

From 1998 - till date, How many times EB3 priority dates were made current
Since nobody attempted to answer your question, let me give a try.
The answer depends on what is the EB3-PD ? If someone (like me) had a PD of 2001 , then it would have become current more than a couple of times. Just in the last two years my PD became current thrice (including July Fiasco), and am still waiting for my approval.
But if you are asking how many times did EVERYONE became current, then possibly only once (The July '07 fiasco). I can tell this for sure since 2000. I am not aware of any info before that year.

I understand that IV needs the money to get things done. But money is not the only thing IV needs. It needs people to volunteer, make calls, meet lawmakers, participate in rallys, general conference calls and start motivating campaigns like the one availing FOIA. If money contributions are the only way for people to be up-to-date about status of IV activities, then what about the people who contribute in other forms?

Can someone please confirm if "Card Production Ordered" email from USCIS mean my 485 is approved and I have gotten GC ?
Also if May bulletin is Unavailable it still means that GC;s issued if your date is current in April are valid ? My email came yesterday same day as the new May bulletin ?
May bulletin is effective only in May 09, so you are in good shape.
